The girl’s mom, Jacqueline Ciccone, 36, Cranston, has been charged with child neglect, according to Cranston Law enforcement Chief Col. Michael Winquist.
Officers responded to a Westcott Avenue residence about 2 p.m. on Monday right after the toddler was located confront down in the backyard swimming pool. Police informed 12 News the baby climbed up a ladder and into the above-floor pool.
Winquist mentioned Ciccone told officers she’d remaining the toddler less than the supervision of her 11-yr-outdated daughter, along with her 3 other siblings.
